Wow! I can't believe that it is already February and fourth grade is halfway over. I am so proud of all that you have all accomplished already and I am really excited to see the great learning and creating you do in the next couple of months!
As we think about fourth grade so far, lets take a minute and reflect.

DeleteI think that I like the book club the most so far . When we read our books it is so much fun. For example when we are doing our accountable talk I like that we get to share our Ideas and if someone dose not like what I said then they can disagree with me and then we have a big long talk.That is what I love the most in forth grade so far.

DeleteMy favorite part of fourth grade was reading the BFG and measuring an achier outside. I loved both of those things because it feels like we were living the moment and we weren't just listening, we were in the moment. When we were reading the BFG it was like we were in the fairy tail.Also, we weren't doing a problem out of a book we were outside doing the math and measuring, and enjoying it at the same time.

DeleteMy favorite moment of fourth grade was when we had a book in on pajaima day. Because it's not every day yoiu get to wear pajaima also you only get to read until 9:15.I'm looking foward to finishing the igloo of of milk and water gallons so i can go inside.

DeleteMy favorite moment so far in fourth grade is the book clubs. This is my favorite moment because I get to read about the same book with my friends. I also get to do book talks about the book with my friends. I am looking forward to talking about more chapters in the book with my friends.
ReplyDeletemy favorite part about fourth grade. Is when we started building a igloo in ms Alfano class because she tough us to buy gallon jugs because it cost lest than a 24 pack and you would get more water. Another reason why i like that because she tough us to not through out gallons because we can use them in class. Another reason is because we did a lot of math and math is favorite subject.and she thought us how to use a hot glue gun and i never used one be four.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory was when we built a long house in Huber woods.We were like native Americans that day.It was so fun.We built a ladder and climb it to scream our names.All the hard work payed off when we got to in it to hide from the blazing heat.It was so fun!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite moment of fourth grade so far is the field trip, The Murray Farm House. I really liked when we were downstairs in kitchen and we made the ginger cookies and churn the butter and when we ate them they were so good!! Also, I liked when we did the chores by finding the eggs. To me it felt like Easter. Last, I liked the game in the farm where we had to try to throw the horseshoe. In all, this was a very fun day!I´m looking forward to in fifth that I would have both very nice teachers and become a better and a smarter student!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of 4th grade was when we went to Huber Woods. One reason is because we got to experience what it was like to be a colonist. Another reason is because we got to build a house out of wood and logs. Thirdly, we stayed outside the whole day and got fresh air but on a regular day, we stay inside and don't get any fresh air. Finally, I learned how to make a house so maybe I could make one in the future! To sum it up, this was one of the best field trips I have been to. Plus, my reasons are pretty clear. So, does this convince you that this was the best moment of fourth grade! I hope you think it is.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed when we where building the longhouses i loved it it was really fun. Because we learned team work and how to build a long house also and we got to go inside it.Also I am looking forward to finishing the milk gallon igloo. Because it is hands on and very very FUN we will also mrs Alfano said, we can do our work inside it sometimes. That is what i am looking forward to and also happy we did.

DeleteMy favorite moment of fourth grade was when I found out my teacher Mrs. Alfano doesn't give homework or uses math books because last year when we did math it was so boring because we never did half the projects we have. Also when I got home I just wanted to play but thanks to homework I never got that chance

My favorite part of 4th grade so far is our book clubs. First, I got the best book. Then, I learned that our book club works great together. Finally, in my book, everything is getting exiting. That is why book clubs were my favorite part so far.
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to finishing our gallon igloo in math. I can't wait to see what it looks like in the inside. I hope we get enough gallons for the project. This project is so fun to build. I also like doing the math for how many gallons we need to start the dome part of the igloo

DeleteMy favorite part of fourth grade so far is when we started maker space.I like it because we got to be creative with the materials that are at the maker space.Also it was fun to build the cars and race and, ram the cars into each other.In addition I think that were going to do another book club with probably other people in our group.Also I think were going to read a different book.

ReplyDeleteMeh name is Dylan.Dis is so cool.Meh like dis.My favorite field trip was when we were native americans.WE BUILT A HOUSE!That was really cool.But it was super hot when we went inside it.And it as already blazing outside!So guess how hot that was.And the igloo project is amazing.Its made out of water gallons.Who would of thought of that.Its a super smart idea.Then we did in groups a marshmellow igloo.Ryan's group is the best one and we have very little marshmellows so his group is the only one finishing it.We barley use the makers space since the K'nex were gone.But I'm getting K'nex.YAY!!!!

Also, I liked when we went on a field trip with our class. It was fun because we got to make cookies and they were so delicious. We got to put all the stuff together when we started baking. It was fun because we were making all of these marshmallow sticks and having fun with our friends . Also our informational text we are writing. Its fun because we learned all the different types of facts about slavery and civil rights.I'm also looking forward to making paper circuits in science.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of fourth grade so far was when in Mrs Alfano's class we made the cars with the connects and had a challenge to complete. I liked this because we had to be very creative. I am looking forward to to our Electricity unit and making Paper, play-dough and sewn things light up with LED lights.

Also make me think and have a fantastic project in the class room that we made.In addition I am looking forward to finishing my book club book Ruby Lee and Me,because Robin just got home and I want to see how she reacts to her new life style in a full body cast.Also learning how to make a circuit and making a pillow light up.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of 4th grade was when we measured an acre outside of school. This was my favorite part so far because it was fun being outdoors and learning the real measurement of an acre. Everyone was excited to learn and it made math fun. Also, it helped us learn more about our corn project.
